Welcome! We have started a project animating "Despera". The current plan is animating an Opening sequence, and will likely expand to a full story afterwards. We are currently looking for people with certain specific skills to help on the project. We are looking for people to fill the following roles:

• Key animation
• Illustration
• Background Art
• 3d character/environment sculpting and rigging
• Color Direction / Color Design
• Compositing and post production

If you'd like to help but don't want to box yourself into one role, this project is out of passion and is pretty flexible so just do whatever you can! Multiple people can fill every role, and as much help as we can get will be appreciated.

Despera is a planned anime series by the main creators of Serial Experiments Lain and Texhnolyze. It is a spiritual successor to Serial Experiments Lain and has many common themes and ideas. The story follows "Ain," a girl who creates electronics that are more advanced than would normally be possible for the time, perhaps there is more to her than meets the eye. It is set during the Taisho Era of Japan in Asakusa.
